DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!!!
Yesterday 14/09/2011 Ms Smiley took a bottle without fighting me! Not only did she take it without fighting me.. it gets better! She drank from said bottle for the next hour.. all on her own!
76 long days in the making and she had a bottle! I was so very, very happy! It is however only babysteps.. (after all she is a baby!) and we are still working on it! I've offered her another bottle today, we shall see how she goes!
In other news:
1- Ms Smiley turns 1 next week! I am going to make sure that she has an extra special day. After all, you only ever turn one, once!
2- We are weaning. Hence the extra excitement at the bottle taking! MB is getting a little tired of being a dairy cow and would like to have some kind of life. She is also going overseas alot in the next few months and it wouldnt be fair to Ms Smiley if she was still feeding.
3- My biological father has had another baby. Well HE hasn't actually had one, because then I would definitely have heard about little Tegan long before she was 2 months old! I can't say I am surprised, however annoyed that no one told me, yep, that's an emotion I am feeling!
4- I'm going away this weekend to see my beautiful best mate 'Lollipop' who is also the amazing mummy of my 16 month old God-daughter! I am super, super excited! I miss them all soo much and I havent had a chance to go up and see them.. but now that they have added another beautiful little girl to their mix, I HAVE to get up there!
Everything else seems pretty handy, dandy in my little world! Off to Gymbaroo this morning (i'm not sure I will ever be able to get their songs out of my head now) and I hope you all have a fabulous day!!
